The Excellency of God

Psalm 8:1 Declares "O Lord, our Lord, How excellent is Your name in all the earth, Who have set your glory above the earth."

This morning let us embrace the excellency of God as we look to him today in reverence and awe.

HE IS the exalted one. HE IS the mighty King. HE IS master over everything seen and unseen. HE IS the great I AM. HE IS the lilly of the valley. HE IS the bright and morning star. HE IS the rose of sharon. HE IS the Prince of Peace. HE IS Holy and his name is Holy. HE IS the Alpha and the Omega. HE IS the Lamb that was slain for the sins of the world. HE IS GOD. His name is above every name. HE IS Jesus, "Yeshua", King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

O Lord, our Lord, How excellent is Your name in all the earth.

Give God Praise today! HE IS YOUR ALL IN ALL.

For a new job! Believe.
For debts to be paid! Believe.

Jesus Is Coming Back. Will You Be Ready?

Matthew 24:30 ""At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory."

Hear me this morning my friends and family. Jesus is coming back. Will you be ready for his return?

The scripture tells us that the Son of Man will appear in the sky and that all nations will mourn because of his return. Jesus is coming back with power and great glory. Such a glory that this world has never known.

Matthew 24:36-39 states "No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man."

The scripture tells us that the people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage up to the day Noah entered the ark, and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. THAT IS HOW IT WILL BE AT THE COMING OF THE SON OF MAN.

Today this is just what is happening as some of us live our lives without any concern or knowledge about who Jesus is and of his return. The people in Noah's day live their lives as if it were noone's business. As a result of not heeding the call of Noah, they perished. Everyone, including men, women and children, who did not entered the ark perished because they refused to believe the warning of Noah.

Mark 13:35-37 "Therefore keep watch because you do not know when the owner of the house will come back - whether in the evening, or at midnight, or when the rooster crows, or at dawn. If he comes suddenly, do not let him find you sleeping. What I say to you, I say to everyone: 'Watch!"

The scripture admonishes us to Watch! Be on guard. Be Alert! The owner (Jesus) of this house (earth) will come back. Jesus is coming back for a people who are watching and are waiting for his return.

1 Thessalonians 4:15-5:4 "According to the Lord's own word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left till the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of god, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage each other with these words. Now, brothers, about times and dates we do not need to write to you, for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. While people are saying, "Peace and safety," destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. But you, brothers, are not in darkness so that this day should suprise you like a thief."


It is time that we begin to keep our eyes on Jesus. It is time that we begin to pray for our selves and our loved ones so that they may see Jesus and accept him into their lives before it is a day to late. He is calling all people to come to him and repent of their sins. He does not condemn you for what you have done in the past but He is calling you to himself so that He can forgive you and wash away all the wrong that you have done.

This is your opportunity to receive Jesus into your life today. Jesus is Coming Back. Will you be ready?

Revelation 22:12 "Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End."

Make Room For Jesus!

Luke 2:7 "And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn."

The bible tells us that Mary brought forth aher first born son and wrapped him in swaddling clothes and laid him in a manger; BECAUSE THERE WAS NO ROOM FOR THEM IN THE INN.

Mary understood something of importance in that when there was no room made for them and her newborn Son, she laid him in a manger. Mary the mother of Jesus made provision for Jesus. She did not find excuses because of her situation. She did not say well, because there was no room I need to go on as if business as usual. She made room for Jesus!

In our world of busyness, are you and I making room for Jesus? We need to make room for Jesus in our day to day schedules. We need to make room for Jesus in our homes. We need to make room for Jesus in our churches. We need to make room for Jesus on our jobs.

Will you make room for Jesus today?

He is waiting to come into your situation. Will you let him in?

God's Gift To YOU

John 3:16 "For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life." - Amplified Bible

God has given to us his most precious gift of all and that is His Son Jesus. Jesus came to die for your sins today so that you can have eternal life with him and His Father. He was born of a virgin, perform miracles, betrayed, suffered, died and rose from the dead.

All of this was for you.

How do you know that Jesus loves you? He gave his life for you now so that you can live with him in eternity.

Accept God's gift in your life today.

Prayer: "Dear God, I accept your gift into my heart today. Forgive me of all of my sins and trespasses. I am a sinner and I need peace with you. Cleanse me from all unrighteousness. Jesus, I accept you into my life and I turn away from sin and all influences of Satan. Satan you are not my Lord and Master. I renounce you and I put you under my feet. I serve Jesus Christ and He has given me authority over you. I am not your property any longer. Jesus, I thank you for coming into my heart. Holy Ghost, come and live in me today. I receive you into my life so that I can walk Holy unto God. Show me how to live for you and that you keep me on this christian journey. This I ask in the name of the Father, the Son and The Holy Ghost. In Jesus' name. Amen."

Will you be one of those who will offer up praise to God for who he is?

Our God is Holy and He is worthy to be Praise. Our God reigns and He sits in the the heavens. He is great in Zion and is High above all people. His name is great, terrible, and holy.

Are You Dressed For Battle?

Ephesians 6:10-18 "10Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: 18Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints."

God has equipped you with everything that you need to win every battle today.

What Happens When Men Fear The Lord.

Psalm 128: 1-6 "Blessed is every one that feareth the Lord; that walketh in his ways. For thou shalt eat the labor of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee. Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table. Behold, thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the Lord. The Lord shall bless thee out of Zion: and thou shalt see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life. Yea, thou shalt see thy children's children, and peace upon Israel."

When men fear the Lord and walk in his ways. Blessed shall he be and his family.

Be Still And Know

Psalm 46:10 "Be still and know that I am God, I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth."

Have you ever been so busy that you forgot to take time out to give God thanks or just stop to hear what he has to say to you?

If God was to speak to you today would you be able to know the voice of the Lord?

Our father desires for all of us to know his voice and to rest in his word.

Be still and know that I am God.

Stop and take a few moments to allow God to speak to your hearts today. The father longs to have fellowship with you.

This Is The Year Of The Turn Around!

I do not know what you have faced last year. I do not know what hardships that you had to endure. But know this one thing. This year of 2010 is the year of the turn around in your life.

Tell all of your troubles good bye.
Tell all of your heart aches see you later.
Tell all of your sorrows not this year.
Why?

This is the year of the Turn Around!

Rejoice in the Lord and again I say rejoice!

Lift up your voice like a trumpet and declare that this year is my year of the turn around!
God is turning some things around for you and for his glory.

You may have crossed over into 2010 with some troubles but tell your troubles go in the name of Jesus. This is my year of the Turn Around!

In this year may you go forward with the dream that God has placed in your heart. You have everything that you need to carry out the divine assignment that God has given you.

Celebrate Jesus' Birth on this Christmas Day

Matthew 1:21 "And she shall bring forth a Son and thou shall call his name Jesus, for he shall save his people from their sins."

In the midst of the shopping, the gifts, the gadgets, and the games, Jesus Christ is still the reason for the season.

December 25th is the day that we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.

We celebrate his coming because it has been told that a Savior would come and would bring peace on earth and goodwill to all men.

We celebrate his presence today because he has blessed us with so many wonderful gifts such as eternal life and his precious Holy Spirit.

We celebrate his name because there is no other name under heaven given to men that we may be saved but at the name of Jesus.

We celebrate his love because we see the love of the Father through Jesus bringing us back to him from a lifestyle of sin to peace with God.

Whatever we do this Christmas Season, let us celebrate Jesus for he is the reason for the season.

Celebrate Jesus' birth on this Christmas Day.

Joy For Mourning

Isaiah 61:3 "To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified."

Tis the season to be Joyful.

As we approach this christmas season this year. Let us remember to spread joy in this season to those who are mourning.

When many are preparing for christmas dinners and family gatherings, there are those who are sad and alone and depressed because they have lost loved ones, are locked away in prisons, or are serving in the military and cannot be with their families.

They need our love, prayers, and support this Christmas.

Jesus came so that we can have the oil of joy for mourning. He came so that we can have the joy of the lord, which is our strength. Strength to face any situation knowing that Jesus is a present help to all that put their trust in him.

The oil of joy in us today is the Holy Spirit in our lives. We as believers have a joy and a peace that the world did not give not can the world take away.

So this Christmas season, reach out to help someone other than yourself and give the love of Jesus away to those who are mourning. Their mourning can be over when we spread joy and show the love of Jesus.

Give Joy this Christmas!

Erase their mourning and spread the Joy of the Lord.

It Is Time To Bless The Lord

Psalm 34:1 "I will bless the Lord at all times, his praise shall continually be in my mouth."

It is time that we begin to bless the Lord for who he is and for what he has done.

It is time that we begin to declare praises from our lips to God.

No longer will we allow an opportunity to slip from us without letting someone know how good God has been to us.

No longer will we remain silent about what the Lord has done for us in this hour.

No longer will we boast about the things that we possess but we will boast about his mighty power that saved us from sin.

Saints of God, let us begin to bless the Lord at all times.

We are the light of the world and the salt of the earth.

It is time to bless the Lord.

I Will Be With You.

Isaiah 43:2 "When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee."

In times of hardships and difficulties we can be certain of one thing: the presence of the Lord will be with us.

It is a comfort and a joy to know that when we are going through hell and high water, our God promises to be with us. He will cover us and preserve us.

His word is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our paths.

Be encouraged today and know that whatever the obstacle or situation that you are facing, God's eternal presence will be with you.

Praise the Lord!

Psalm 150

"Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power.
Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness.
Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp.
Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs.
Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals.
Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD."

Always give God the praise for who he is in your life.

Give Thanks To God

Psalm 107:1 "O Give thanks unto the Lord for he is good, for his mercy endureth for ever."

Today, I give thanks to God for his many blessings towards me and my family. Words cannot express how good He has been to us. For Life, Health, Strength, Peace, Salvation and Mercy. My God is worthy to be praise.

What are you thankful for?

Give thanks to God for everything and in everything.

The Power Of Agreement

Matthew 18:19, 20 " Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them."

The Power of Agreement is when any two believers in Christ make a decision to get on one accord to petition heaven for their needs, God the Father is obligated to respond because of his word.

Prayer is a pivotal force when carried out by two or more people who desire to see God's will in their lives. Power is released because their is Unity in Prayer. When two or more people pray together things begin to shift and move because of the power of agreement. That is why the enemy fights harder when two people try to come together for anything that is good towards God.

Make the connection today!

Whatever it is that is keeping you from connecting with a fellow believer this morning, put it aside and allow the Holy Spirit to work on your behalf.

The bible says that when any two shall agree on earth, then heaven shows up and the King of Kings is right there in the midst.

Remember!

"One can chase a thousand put two can put ten thousand to flight." Deuteronomy 32:30

Create In Me A Clean Heart

Psalm 51: 10 "Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me."

When was the last time you asked God to Create in you a clean heart and renew a right spirit within you?

If this sounds a little bit strange to you this morning then it is time to return to the Lord.

Everyday God desires for his people to come to him and ask him to create in us a clean heart and renew a right spirit within us.

Our hearts can become polluted with sin, self, bad attitudes and temperaments that do not please God. Our hearts may tell us that we are OK and that we have not outwardly sin today. But in actuality we have inwardly sinned with our thoughts and prejudices. It is the Holy Spirit who knows our hearts and what lies deep within. Therefore we can be living a lie instead of the truth.

Our spirit needs to be renewed in Christ daily. We carry so much on us that we need His Spirit to renew us day by day. The bible tells us in Matthew 11:28 "Come unto me all ye that labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest." God desires to give us rest in our souls so that we can be carriers of his anointing rather than the carriers of the baggages of this life.

Do you need a clean heart?

Do you need a right spirit?

Then I encourage you today to come to Jesus and ask him to wash away the filth out of your heart and give you a clean heart. Ask him to give you a right spirit so that you can operate at a higher level of grace and anointing in him.

Our father God longs to not only create in you a clean heart and renew a right spirit but to Create the image of his Son Jesus Christ in you today.
