The Day God Gave Me A Son

Psalms 127:3-5

"Sons are a heritage from the LORD, children a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one's youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their enemies in the gate."

Words cannot express the awesomeness of God's love by blessing our home with a Son. I love you and I thankyou Father God for all that you have done for us.

Jeremiah 29:11 - God's Plan for You

Jeremiah 29"11 "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

There are 7 P's found in this verse of scripture.

#1) Promise - This is defined as a declaration assuring that one will or will not do something; a vow. The bible is God's Holy Word and it is full of promises made to us his children. Psalm 105:42 states "For he remembered his holy promise.." God is not a man that he should lie. If he said it, then we can trust in his word and wait on him. Jeremiah 29:11 is a promise God made to the children of Israel when they were in bondage for seventy years. We the church of the living God are spiritual Israelites and we have been set free by the blood of Jesus Christ. Every promise that is found in the word of God belongs to us today. We can lay hold of this promise of Jeremiah 29:11.

#2) Plan - This is defined as a scheme or method of acting, doing, proceeding, making, etc., developed in advance: battle plans; a design or scheme of arrangement. God's plan for our lives are bigger than the plans we may have. The plan of God is perfect and complete. God's plan for us involves wholeness, prosperity, protection and providence. We have a God who loves us and has made provision for our well being and for future generations to come. In order for us to know the plan of God for our lives we must daily read his word and follow it. God is the author and finisher of our faith.

#3) Purpose - This is defined as the object toward which one strives or for which something exists; an aim or a goal. Everyone of you reading this blog today was born with a purpose from God. Your purpose for being here came from God and not your Guidance Counsellor. God dreamt a dream where one day in time he would have sons and daughters who would walk in the image and likeness of God and would rule and dominate the earth. Child of God, you are not an accident or even an experiment. God has ordained for you to be here so that you can take your rightful place in his kingdom.

#4) Prosper - This is defined as to succeed in an enterprise or activity; especially : to achieve economic success; to become strong and flourishing. God's plan for your life is to succeed in an enterprise or activity or to become strong and flourishing. I encourage you today that if you are out of work get busy doing some good service or charitable act. We serve a God who rewards the good works of our hands. When we get busy doing something good, God steps in and blesses our efforts with economic success. In other words, do your best at whatever you put your hands to and money will come and seek you out.

#5) Promotion - This is defined as the act of promoting or the fact of being promoted; advancement; encouragement of the progress, growth, or acceptance of something. Psalm 75:6 & 7 states: "For promotion come neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge: he puts down one, and sets up another." This scripture of promise is actually a promise of promotion from God. His good will to us. We are advancing in life when ever we come under the lordship of Jesus Christ in the Earth. We need not fear no one but only look to the Lord for guidance and direction.

#6) Protection - This is defined as the act of protecting or the state of being protected; preservation from injury or harm. God has promised to prosper you and not to harm you. Have you ever heard this cliche? New level , new devil! Child of God, we need not worry or fret about what tomorrow holds for we know who holds tomorrow. We are under the divine plan and protection of Almighty God. Psalms 91: 4 - 7 states: "He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee."

#7) Providence - This is defined as the foreseeing care and guidance of god or nature over the creatures of the earth. God has thought about your beginning and your end. He is such a loving and caring Father in that his plan not only includes wholeness, prosperity, protection and promotion but he has laid out his best for you today and for tomorrow. We can enjoy the blessings of God when we submit to him and his will for our lives.
I see you in your future and it is full of hope for you and your loved ones.

For I know the plans that I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, to give you a hope and a future.

It is my prayer that you grow in grace and in the knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Don't give Up!

Your Dreams May Be Closer
Than You Think!

There may be times when you feel

as if you have taken a million steps towards

your dreams, and acted on your plans, only to find

yourself in the same place that you began from.

At times like this, you must not give up.

You must continue on. Though you may feel

lost, bewildered, and alone, continue to believe

in yourself. Do not allow discouragement and

doubt to blur your vision and wash away

your dreams. Visualize your way beyond the

detours, standstills, and obstacles.

You will realize your dreams. You have

worked hard and taken so many productive

steps in a positive direction that you are bound

to succeed. Whatever the hurt of the moment

may be, it will pass. Tomorrow is always a

new dawn. Today, you must pause, rest, catch

your breath, and then look ahead. Each step

will bring you closer to your dreams. The

rainbows and the love that you deserve are in

sight. Happiness is just around the next turn.

Keep Your Focus on Jesus!

Hebrews 12:2 "Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith."

Looking is defined as " the act of directing the eyes toward something and perceiving it visually."

Child of God, in this hour of uncertainty one thing that you must be certain about and that is keep your focus on Jesus!

Many of us are distracted by what is happening in the gulf, or the evening news, or the economic crisis that is at hand. We must not allow the things of this world cause us to remove our eyes off of Jesus.

In Hebrews 12:2, we see the word looking as an act of directing our eyes toward something and perceiving it visually. In other words, when we fix our attention on Jesus, we begin to perceive or visualize something that we may have not seen before. Jesus wants to change our perception. He longs to reveal something to us.

When you and I keep our eyes on Jesus long enough, there is a release of the Spirit of Revelation that will cause us to know something that we may have not known before. Revelation is the key that will launch us into our Destiny and Purpose in God.

I encourage you to keep your eyes on Jesus. The Spirit of Revelation will meet you in this hour and show you things that will be crucial for you to know so that you can prepare and position yourself for what is to come for you in God.

God wants you to know the hope of his calling. (Ephesians 1:18)

God Is Your Refuge and Fortress

Psalm 91:2 "I will say of the Lord, "He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust."

A refuge is defined by the freedictionary.com as "protection or shelter, from danger or hardship."
A fortress is defined by the freedictionary.com as "a fortified place."

In other words, when the Psalmist declared that God is His Refuge and Fortress, he was saying that God is his protection or shelter from danger and he is a fortified place. His description of God could only be compared to a place that is fortified or heavily built up or armed.

A refuge or a fortress is like a military base in today's terminology. A military base is fortified and armed with weapons of mass destruction. God is Omni-potent, "all powerful." He is Power! There is none like him.

Let this teaching encourage you today. Declare to the enemy that GOD IS YOUR REFUGE AND FORTRESS! GOD IS YOUR PROTECTION FROM DANGER AND A FORTIFIED PLACE.

Put your trust in God!

This morning let us embrace the excellency of God as we look to him today in reverence and awe.

HE IS the exalted one. HE IS the mighty King. HE IS master over everything seen and unseen. HE IS the great I AM. HE IS the lilly of the valley. HE IS the bright and morning star. HE IS the rose of sharon. HE IS the Prince of Peace. HE IS Holy and his name is Holy. HE IS the Alpha and the Omega. HE IS the Lamb that was slain for the sins of the world. HE IS GOD. His name is above every name. HE IS Jesus, "Yeshua", King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

O Lord, our Lord, How excellent is Your name in all the earth.

Jesus Is Coming Back. Will You Be Ready?

Matthew 24:30 ""At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory."

Hear me this morning my friends and family. Jesus is coming back. Will you be ready for his return?

The scripture tells us that the Son of Man will appear in the sky and that all nations will mourn because of his return. Jesus is coming back with power and great glory. Such a glory that this world has never known.

Matthew 24:36-39 states "No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man."

The scripture tells us that the people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage up to the day Noah entered the ark, and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. THAT IS HOW IT WILL BE AT THE COMING OF THE SON OF MAN.

Today this is just what is happening as some of us live our lives without any concern or knowledge about who Jesus is and of his return. The people in Noah's day live their lives as if it were noone's business. As a result of not heeding the call of Noah, they perished. Everyone, including men, women and children, who did not entered the ark perished because they refused to believe the warning of Noah.

Mark 13:35-37 "Therefore keep watch because you do not know when the owner of the house will come back - whether in the evening, or at midnight, or when the rooster crows, or at dawn. If he comes suddenly, do not let him find you sleeping. What I say to you, I say to everyone: 'Watch!"

The scripture admonishes us to Watch! Be on guard. Be Alert! The owner (Jesus) of this house (earth) will come back. Jesus is coming back for a people who are watching and are waiting for his return.

1 Thessalonians 4:15-5:4 "According to the Lord's own word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left till the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of god, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage each other with these words. Now, brothers, about times and dates we do not need to write to you, for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. While people are saying, "Peace and safety," destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. But you, brothers, are not in darkness so that this day should suprise you like a thief."

It is time that we begin to keep our eyes on Jesus. It is time that we begin to pray for our selves and our loved ones so that they may see Jesus and accept him into their lives before it is a day to late. He is calling all people to come to him and repent of their sins. He does not condemn you for what you have done in the past but He is calling you to himself so that He can forgive you and wash away all the wrong that you have done.

This is your opportunity to receive Jesus into your life today. Jesus is Coming Back. Will you be ready?

Revelation 22:12 "Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End."

Make Room For Jesus!

Luke 2:7 "And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn."

The bible tells us that Mary brought forth aher first born son and wrapped him in swaddling clothes and laid him in a manger; BECAUSE THERE WAS NO ROOM FOR THEM IN THE INN.

Mary understood something of importance in that when there was no room made for them and her newborn Son, she laid him in a manger. Mary the mother of Jesus made provision for Jesus. She did not find excuses because of her situation. She did not say well, because there was no room I need to go on as if business as usual. She made room for Jesus!

In our world of busyness, are you and I making room for Jesus? We need to make room for Jesus in our day to day schedules. We need to make room for Jesus in our homes. We need to make room for Jesus in our churches. We need to make room for Jesus on our jobs.

Will you make room for Jesus today?

He is waiting to come into your situation. Will you let him in?

God's Gift To YOU

John 3:16 "For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life." - Amplified Bible

God has given to us his most precious gift of all and that is His Son Jesus. Jesus came to die for your sins today so that you can have eternal life with him and His Father. He was born of a virgin, perform miracles, betrayed, suffered, died and rose from the dead.

All of this was for you.

How do you know that Jesus loves you? He gave his life for you now so that you can live with him in eternity.

Accept God's gift in your life today.

Prayer: "Dear God, I accept your gift into my heart today. Forgive me of all of my sins and trespasses. I am a sinner and I need peace with you. Cleanse me from all unrighteousness. Jesus, I accept you into my life and I turn away from sin and all influences of Satan. Satan you are not my Lord and Master. I renounce you and I put you under my feet. I serve Jesus Christ and He has given me authority over you. I am not your property any longer. Jesus, I thank you for coming into my heart. Holy Ghost, come and live in me today. I receive you into my life so that I can walk Holy unto God. Show me how to live for you and that you keep me on this christian journey. This I ask in the name of the Father, the Son and The Holy Ghost. In Jesus' name. Amen."

Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table. Behold, thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the Lord. The Lord shall bless thee out of Zion: and thou shalt see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life. Yea, thou shalt see thy children's children, and peace upon Israel."

When men fear the Lord and walk in his ways. Blessed shall he be and his family.

This Is The Year Of The Turn Around!

I do not know what you have faced last year. I do not know what hardships that you had to endure. But know this one thing. This year of 2010 is the year of the turn around in your life.

Tell all of your troubles good bye.
Tell all of your heart aches see you later.
Tell all of your sorrows not this year.
Why?

This is the year of the Turn Around!

Rejoice in the Lord and again I say rejoice!

Lift up your voice like a trumpet and declare that this year is my year of the turn around!
God is turning some things around for you and for his glory.

You may have crossed over into 2010 with some troubles but tell your troubles go in the name of Jesus. This is my year of the Turn Around!

In the midst of the shopping, the gifts, the gadgets, and the games, Jesus Christ is still the reason for the season.

December 25th is the day that we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.

We celebrate his coming because it has been told that a Savior would come and would bring peace on earth and goodwill to all men.

We celebrate his presence today because he has blessed us with so many wonderful gifts such as eternal life and his precious Holy Spirit.

We celebrate his name because there is no other name under heaven given to men that we may be saved but at the name of Jesus.

We celebrate his love because we see the love of the Father through Jesus bringing us back to him from a lifestyle of sin to peace with God.

Whatever we do this Christmas Season, let us celebrate Jesus for he is the reason for the season.

Celebrate Jesus' birth on this Christmas Day.

Joy For Mourning

Isaiah 61:3 "To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified."

Tis the season to be Joyful.

As we approach this christmas season this year. Let us remember to spread joy in this season to those who are mourning.

When many are preparing for christmas dinners and family gatherings, there are those who are sad and alone and depressed because they have lost loved ones, are locked away in prisons, or are serving in the military and cannot be with their families.

They need our love, prayers, and support this Christmas.

Jesus came so that we can have the oil of joy for mourning. He came so that we can have the joy of the lord, which is our strength. Strength to face any situation knowing that Jesus is a present help to all that put their trust in him.

The oil of joy in us today is the Holy Spirit in our lives. We as believers have a joy and a peace that the world did not give not can the world take away.

So this Christmas season, reach out to help someone other than yourself and give the love of Jesus away to those who are mourning. Their mourning can be over when we spread joy and show the love of Jesus.

Give Joy this Christmas!

Erase their mourning and spread the Joy of the Lord.

It Is Time To Bless The Lord

It is time that we begin to bless the Lord for who he is and for what he has done.

It is time that we begin to declare praises from our lips to God.

No longer will we allow an opportunity to slip from us without letting someone know how good God has been to us.

No longer will we remain silent about what the Lord has done for us in this hour.

No longer will we boast about the things that we possess but we will boast about his mighty power that saved us from sin.

Saints of God, let us begin to bless the Lord at all times.

We are the light of the world and the salt of the earth.

It is time to bless the Lord.

I Will Be With You.

In times of hardships and difficulties we can be certain of one thing: the presence of the Lord will be with us.

It is a comfort and a joy to know that when we are going through hell and high water, our God promises to be with us. He will cover us and preserve us.

His word is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our paths.

Be encouraged today and know that whatever the obstacle or situation that you are facing, God's eternal presence will be with you.

The Power Of Agreement

Matthew 18:19, 20 " Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them."

The Power of Agreement is when any two believers in Christ make a decision to get on one accord to petition heaven for their needs, God the Father is obligated to respond because of his word.

Prayer is a pivotal force when carried out by two or more people who desire to see God's will in their lives. Power is released because their is Unity in Prayer. When two or more people pray together things begin to shift and move because of the power of agreement. That is why the enemy fights harder when two people try to come together for anything that is good towards God.

Make the connection today!

Whatever it is that is keeping you from connecting with a fellow believer this morning, put it aside and allow the Holy Spirit to work on your behalf.

The bible says that when any two shall agree on earth, then heaven shows up and the King of Kings is right there in the midst.

Create In Me A Clean Heart

Psalm 51: 10 "Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me."

When was the last time you asked God to Create in you a clean heart and renew a right spirit within you?

If this sounds a little bit strange to you this morning then it is time to return to the Lord.

Everyday God desires for his people to come to him and ask him to create in us a clean heart and renew a right spirit within us.

Our hearts can become polluted with sin, self, bad attitudes and temperaments that do not please God. Our hearts may tell us that we are OK and that we have not outwardly sin today. But in actuality we have inwardly sinned with our thoughts and prejudices. It is the Holy Spirit who knows our hearts and what lies deep within. Therefore we can be living a lie instead of the truth.

Our spirit needs to be renewed in Christ daily. We carry so much on us that we need His Spirit to renew us day by day. The bible tells us in Matthew 11:28 "Come unto me all ye that labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest." God desires to give us rest in our souls so that we can be carriers of his anointing rather than the carriers of the baggages of this life.

Do you need a clean heart?

Do you need a right spirit?

Then I encourage you today to come to Jesus and ask him to wash away the filth out of your heart and give you a clean heart. Ask him to give you a right spirit so that you can operate at a higher level of grace and anointing in him.

Our father God longs to not only create in you a clean heart and renew a right spirit but to Create the image of his Son Jesus Christ in you today.

Do you know that all of your help comes from the Lord?

Are you aware that in all that comes to you was orchestrated by God to bring you into safety?

Do not think for one minute that it was your safe driving or keen sense of judgement that kept you safe in your car?

It was God that kept you safe all this past week even when you were texting at the wheel.

It was God that made sure you were spared from that accident.

It was God that dispatched his angels to keep you safe while you were asleep last night.

It was God that covered you and sealed you from every present danger.

Give God praise for all of his help towards you each and every day!
Know that all of your help comes from the Lord.

God Is Very Present With You.

GOD IS:

Very Present when we go through trouble.

Very Present when we go through trials.

Very Present when we go through situations and circumstances.

Very Present when the bills are due.

Very Present when people talk about you.

Very Present when people mistreat you.

Very Present when all hell is breaking lose around you.

In all that happens to you and around you know this: GOD IS OUR REFUGE AND STRENGTH AND IS VERY, VERY, VERY, PRESENT HELP IN TROUBLE.

If God is very present in all that we go through, then why do we keep freaking out when trouble comes.

My answer today is this: We do not know the God that we serve and how he is able to perform.

I speak this word to you and also to myself today: "Let us cast all of our cares upon him for he cares for us." 1 Peter 5:7

The Power Is In Your Mouth....Prophesy!

Ezekiel 37:4 & 7 "Again he said unto me Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the Lord.....So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone."

The power to change every situation that you are facing right now is found in your mouth. God desires for you to prophesy his word to every situation and command it to change.

To Prophesy means to reveal by divine inspiration. (freedictionary.com)

What is it that God wants to reveal to you in this hour?

What is it that He wants to make known to you?

Do you know what he is saying to you about your situation?

Do you have an understanding of his plan and will for you for the rest of the year?

God wants to make known to you his will so that when the time comes you can say what he said and see the results that he wants.

"Father in heaven, I pray for all those that read this blog this day and ask that you reveal to them your will, plan, and purpose for their success in life. Show them how to win in their marriages, win in their finances, win in their homes, win in their jobs, win in their businesses, win in their calling, and win in their pursuit of you. Father I bind the forces of darkness that is trying to prevail against them in this hour. You said that life and death is in the power of our tongues; therefore, I cancel every demonic assignment from hell that tries to hinder, delay, overthrow, their progress in God and assignment in the earth. I come in agreement with everyone that reads this prayer this day and ask for their minds to be open to what the Holy Ghost desires to reveal to them today. Father download every garbage that they have held on to including old ways, thought patterns, mindsets, beliefs systems and practices that do not bring you glory. Father upload new mindsets, new thought patterns, new belief systems and practices that will bring you glory based upon faith and trust in your word. Father release into their lives this day a fresh outlook on life and that they will know without a shadow of a doubt that their situation has already begun to turn around for their good and for your glory. Therefore, I thank you for every reader this day and for ther good things that you are doing in them and for them. Thank God for the blood of Jesus!

I am so glad this morning for the blood of Jesus that washed all of my sins away. I am so glad to know that if it had not been for the blood of Jesus I would be lost without a Savior and destined to die never to know the eternal riches of the salvation of my Lord and Savior.

The blood of Jesus covers me and my family and keeps me from falling back into the things that had me bound. The blood of Jesus keeps me clean and pure because I have made up in my mind that I will stay under the blood of Jesus.

"What can wash away my sins? Nothing but the blood of Jesus! What can make me whole again? Nothing but the blood of Jesus! O Precious is the flow that makes me white as snow. No other fount I know, Nothing but the blood of Jesus."

Are you thankful for the blood of Jesus?

The Benefits of Waiting On God

Isaiah 40:31 "But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk and not faint."

Waiting on God is not the easiest thing to do but in the long run it is the best thing to do.

The benefits of the believer waiting on God is as follows:

1) Renewal of Strength - Every child of God will experience a time in his or her life when their strength will fail or diminish due to the hardships of this life. The remedy for a renewed strength is waiting on the Lord. When we begin to wait on the Lord and then waiting in his presence our strength will be renewed in Him.

2.) Mount up with wings of eagles. - The eagle is a majestic bird that when viewed in its habitat it is found on high cliffs where it sits and waits for the wind. Why? So that it can mount up on the wind and soar. The application is this. Whenever we wait on the Spirit of God he lifts us up in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.

3.) Run without getting tired. - We are all called to run a race so that we can get a reward. Waiting on God enables us to effectively run this spiritual race. The presence of God energizes our spirit so that we can run without getting tired or weary. Weariness stems from not waiting on God's Spirit especially when we try to do everything in our own strength.

4.) Walk and not faint. - The image that is presented here goes from soaring to running and then eventually to walking. The application that is shown here is that in the seasons of our lives we all will experience some level of progression in our relationship with God. At times we will be soaring high in the Spirit. Then at other times we may be running with a word or revelation that God has birthed into our spirit. Eventually we may not be running nor soaring but walking. Walking allows us to see the path that is laid out before us. It is in walking that we are able to see the details of our steps that are ordered by God.

Therefore, enjoy your walk with God. He desires to show you the details of your life.

Are you a Son of God?

Romans 8:14 "For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God."

The Sons of God are those that are being led by the Spirit of God. It is the Spirit of God that leads the people of God into the things of God. It is the Spirit of God that ought to carry us into the deep things of God so that we can gain access into what God wants us to know for such a time as this.

Are you allowing the Spirit of God to lead you in this hour? Are you being led by CNN or talk show icons who are telling you that you should do this or that? The bible tells us that we who are led by the Spirit of God, that we are the Sons of God.

Sons of God follow the Spirit of God. We do not follow what the media is saying what we should do. Instead, you and I ought to follow what God wants us to do in this hour. That is to allow the Spirit of God to lead us.

Do you seek for a job? Then ask the Spirit of God to lead you to one.

Do you seek for a promotion? Then ask the Spirit of God to show you how to get one.

Do you seek for a better relationship with your spouse? Then ask the Spirit of God to show you how to be a better spouse.

Whatever you seek for in this hour the Spirit of God already knows. Be patient! Allow the Spirit of God to direct you during these shifting seasons of your life.

"It may get worst before it gets better, but know one thing God has already walked out your steps and he has made provisions for you to be protected and preserved. You will not go down but God will carry you through."

Ephesians 2:8 & 9 "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the Gift of God. Not of works lest any man should boast."

Have you received the Gift of God?

Salvation is a free gift paid for by the blood of Jesus to cleanse us all from the stain of sin that is in our lives. We were all born in sin and the only remedy for sin is to receive God's Son into our lives by faith.

The Gift of God will not cost you nor I anything this day but to look to Jesus completely and whole heartedly that He would not only forgive our sins but to show us how to live free from sin in a sinful world.

Jesus came not to condemn us because of our sins but He came to set us free from our sins so that we can live holy or set apart for Him. Our good works cannot act as a substitute for the covering of our sins only the blood of Jesus can do that.

Receive the Gift of God today.

Know that God loves you and He cares.

Dictionary.com defines trust as: reliance on the integrity, strength, ability, surety, etc., of a person or thing; confidence; confident expectation of something; hope; confidence in the certainty of future payment for property or goods received; credit: to sell merchandise on trust; a person in whom or thing on which one relies.

Child of God I say to you today.

Have confidence in your God!

Hope in your God!

Rely on the integrity, strength, ability and surety of your God!

He is your all in all.

Acknowledge him and he will direct your path.

What is Your Higher Calling?

Philippians 3:7, 14 "But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ....I press towards the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus."

The apostle Paul in his letter to the Saints at Philippi expresses his true motives for following his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He begins this chapter by urging the saints to be careful of dogs and of evil workers, to laying out a long list of accolades and accomplishments. Then finally admitting that those things that he had gained....he counted it loss for Christ.

As a matter of fact, he counted all things loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus.

Hear the heart of Paul's words wrapped up in verse 10 of this chapter.

"That I may know Him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death."

The ultimate expression of Paul's love for Jesus had overtaken his being to the point that his only aim or goal in life was to forgetting those things that were behind him and reaching for those things that were ahead of him......"I press towards the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus."

Hear Paul's words again, "That I may know Him."

Paul's higher calling was "To know his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ even more than anything he had ever achieved in life."

Power To Get Wealth.

Deuteronomy 8:18 "But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God; for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day."

God has given you power to get wealth!

Dictionary.com defines power as: the ability to do or act, strength, might force, legal ability, capacity, or authority.

You and I were given the legal ability or right to do or act by God our father to get wealth.

It is our inheritance that we as believers in Christ begin to take control of our lives and stop making excuses of why we are not experiencing the abundance of wealth that God has empowered us to get.

We have been equipped with power to get wealth. My understanding leads me to believe that this power that God has given us is also the Power of the Holy Ghost. The bible tells us that He (The Holy Ghost) will lead us and guide us into all truth.

The truth about you is that God has given you the ability to get wealth. Wealth that could change your generation and your bloodline forever.

Therefore, use whatever gift or talent that you have to get wealth.

If you can sew, then sew your way out of debt and poverty.

If you can bake, then bake your way to riches.

If you can sing, then sing your way to wealth.

If you can write, then write your way to great financial blessings.

Whatever you can do, know that God has given you that ability to get wealth.

And you thought that you were powerless, void of strength and supernatural resources.

God has given you legal authority to get wealth.

Therefore, rise up from where you are and know that Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world.

Revelations 12:11 "And they overcame him by the blood and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death."

Do not underestimate the blood of Jesus and your word of testimony?

Oh there is so much power in the word of God.

Child of God, your position in Christ was sealed because of the blood of Jesus. It is by the blood of Jesus your sins were forgiven. It is by the blood of Jesus your sickness was taken away. It by the blood of Jesus you can overcome the forces of darkness and prevail as the light that you are. It is by the blood of Jesus that the enemy cannot do you any harm.

The songwriter penned these words along time ago. "What can wash away my sins? Nothing but the blood of Jesus. What can make me whole again? Nothing but the blood of Jesus."

Begin to thank God for your salvation!

Another word that we can glean from this scripture is that our power to overcome lies in the word of our testimony. If God has done something in your life, let others know.

Our testimony is important because whenever we tell others about how Good our God is then we give life and hope to our listeners. We must speak about our God and what he has done in our lives. We must spread the "Good News" to a world that is in bad shape right now. Someone needs to hear YOU declare and lift up Jesus the light of the world to them.

Will you be that someone today? Will you let your light shine so that others may see your good works and glorify God?

Remember!

Greater is HE that is in YOU than he that is in the world.

You are an overcomer by the blood of Jesus and by your word of testimony.

Prayer Matters!

One of the most powerful thing that the disciples of Jesus asked him was, "Master teach us how to pray?"

They understood that prayer made a tremendous difference in Jesus' Ministry. They saw how because of prayer he healed the sick, raised the dead, and did wonderful miracles. They saw how he made it a priority in his ministry by seeking time with God to pray early in the morning. They saw how he would spend all night in prayer only to arise the next day to perform miracles.

Prayer is vital to the believer in Christ who dares to do and to become all that he desires.

Prayer is a mighty weapon when we as believers know who we are in Christ and stand and take authority.

Prayer is your key that will unlock the door to your miracle.

Prayer is us giving God access to enter into our lives so that He can have his way.

Prayer matters!

Abraham prayed!

Moses prayed!

Joshua prayed!

Daniel prayed!

Elijah prayed!

Hannah prayed!

Esther prayed!

Paul prayed!

Jesus prayed!

Isaiah 43:18 "Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing: now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert."

Are you tired of the same old, same old?

Are you longing for something new, something fresh?

Are you yearning for God to do something new in your life today?

Then here is medicine for your soul.

The bible tells us not to remember the former things nor consider the things of old. In other words God says to us forget it!

If you and I are ever going to receive anything new or fresh today then we must forget the old things.

I know we had a good time in campmeeting last year. But forget it!

I know we had church. But forget it!

I know we thought God will do it a certain way. But forget it!

Our memory of the past can become a barrier between us and God doing something new in our lives today. We can limit God to his last miracle or blessing in our lives. Whenever He wants to do something new in us we keep limiting him or bringing him back to our last memor(y)ial of where we receive our last victory.

God cannot be limited to his last act of blessings in our lives.

Jesus had a problem with this when he took Peter, James and John up to the mount of transfiguration where he was transfigured before them speaking to Moses and Elijah. The disciples wanted to built three tabernacles, one for Jesus, Elijah, and Moses. But Jesus said do no such thing!

What he was saying to them was this. Do not be contend with your last miracle or blessing or revelation. I am able to do exceeding and abundantly more than what you can think or imagine.

God says, "Now it shall spring forth, shall ye not know it?"

When will it happen for you, NOW!

Declare with me these words today.

"Now is the day for God to do something NEW just for me"

Expect God to do a NEW THING IN YOU TODAY!

Expect God to do a NEW THING IN YOUR MIND TODAY!

Expect God to do a NEW THING IN YOUR LIFE TODAY!

Your Success Lies in the WORD!

If you are ever going to achieve true and lasting success at any thing then these keys must be applied to your daily life.

1) Speak the WORD - You must speak the Word of God over your life daily. When you speak the word over your life, career, family, job, or business you are giving power over that area to grow and blossom in your life. Remember, life and death is all in the tongue.

2) Meditate on the WORD - You must meditate on the Word daily. It is very important to keep your mind on the word of God. Philippians 4:8 tells us to think on these things that are true, honest, just, pure, lovely, good report, virtue and praise.

3) Follow the WORD - You must give attention or observance to what the Word of God is telling you to do. The only way for that to happen is by getting in the word. The bible has clear instructions for our daily living in this world. Whatever we are facing in this life we can find it in the Word of God.

God's word has always been a source of strength and comfort in my life. There were times when I felt how am I going to get through this or that. Only to look to the word of God and find the solution that I needed to get me through the day.

As I am writing this blog this morning, I do not know what you may be facing today.

But whatever it is, know that you can have peace IN any situation by allowing the word of God to rest in your heart today.

Take a few moments and find a favorite scripture of two and allow it to sink into your soul. My favorite is the 23rd Psalms.

"The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name sakes. Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil, my cup runneth over. Jesus is the Author and Finisher of your faith. Which means that anything that is allowed in your life is allowed for a reason. The troubles, heartaches, setbacks, blessing and victories were all sent in your life for a purpose. The purpose to all the mess that you have been dealing with and had to put up with is for this one thing.

It was sent for Your Good because of the assignment that is on your life. Romans 8:28 declares, "All things work together for the good of those that love the Lord and are called according to his purpose."

Jesus knows where you are and the thoughts and questions that you are pondering in your heart. As a matter of fact, he determines the right amount of blessings that you need for your every day life.

His plan is to prosper you, to give you hope and a future.

His plan is to see you go from glory to glory.

His plan for you is increase.

His plan is to to see you shine in your area of gifting and calling.

Do not panic and do not get anxious!

Deuteronomy 8:1 "All the commandments which I command you this day you shall be watchful to do, that you may live and multiply and go in and possess the land which the Lord swore to give to your fathers."

Your obedience to the Instructions of the Lord will determine great significant blessings for you and future generations.

God is telling us today that If we obey his commandments that we are to receive the following:

1) Live - to live means: to have life, remain alive, sustain life, live prosperously, live for ever, be quickened, be alive, be restored to life or health.

2) Multiply - to multiply means: to be or become great, many, much. or numerous.

4) Possess - to possess means: to seize, take possession of, inherit and occupy.

Therefore, whenever He speaks to us through his word or by His Spirit we will endeavor to obey the full instruction of the Lord.

For we know that when we obey his word, we will HAVE LIFE, LIVE PROSPEROUSLY, BE RESTORED TO HEALTH, BECOME GREAT AND MANY, ENTER AND TAKE POSSESSION OF ALL THAT HE HAS PROMISED US.

You were meant to live in the overflow.

All believers in Christ were meant to live in the overflow. Jesus came so that we can live life to the full till it overflows.

Are you living in the overflow?

Are you overflowing in Joy, Peace, Love, and Prosperity?

Jesus came so that none of us can have any lack or spoil. It is the devil's desire to keep us in the lack or poverty of life.

Do you have a vision for your life?

Habakkuk 2:2 "And the Lord answered me and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it." (KJV)

You may be reading this and wondering to yourself, "Do I have a vision for my life?" or "What is it that I see myself doing or becoming?"

If you are asking yourself any of these questions then there is an answer for you from the word of God. The bible tells us that Habakkuk the Prophet was standing on his watch and was waiting to hear from God and what he would say to him. (Hab. 1:1)

In order to get a vision for your life then you must understand that vision come from God. God is the source of your vision for your life. Therefore everything that you need to do and be in life will flow from a relationship that is connected to him.

Habukkuk positioned himself by waiting on God to reveal the thing that he was desiring in his heart.

Are you positioning yourself in Prayer?

Are you positioning yourself in the Word?

Are you positioning yourself in Fasting?

Are you positioning yourself to hear God?

God desires to reveal your personal vision for your life but you must position yourself for it.

What will be your answer when he ask you a question?

Here is what you should say:-

Faith that Rewards!

Hebrews 11:6 "And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him." (NIV)

There is faith that rewards and you can receive ALL that God has in store for you.

There are some keys here in this scripture that will open heaven's door of blessings for you today.

1) You must have faith in God - Faith is acting on the word of God, be it logos (written word) or rhema (voice of the Spirit) that is revealed to you. It is trusting God and Knowing that He is that He is.

There has to be a revelation on the inside of you that comes from walking with God and seeing him at work in your life. This walk produces faith or trust or confidence in knowing that God will come through because you have seen him deliver in the past.

2) You must be determined to seek God - Your faith must be the kind of Faith that is built on a relationship with your God that no matter what may come your way, you are determined to hold on to him and allow him to bring you into true and lasting success.

There is a faith that God loves. It is when you begin to push the envelope and say to yourself that there has to be more in life God has for me and I will seek him for it. God loves those who are not contend with a mediocre life but those who desire a richer, fuller, and joyous life.

3) You must believe that God has something GOOD FOR YOU when you show up - Your faith will do wonders when you believe that when you show up God has a blessing in store for you. He longs to bless you every chance he gets because he is a loving father who loves to bless his children.

Child of God. Your God wants to Reward You just for Showing up!

Can you believe that!

I know you thought that you had to go out and save the world for YOUR GOD to bless you. I know you thought that you had to have all of your T's crossed and I's dotted for him to Shower YOU with blessings.

You are special to God and he longs to bless you and reward you for coming to him. You are the reason that earth spins today. You are the reason the Sun shines today. You are the reason the rain falls today. You are the reason that He sent his son to die for your sins. He is that in love with you to the point that your life was equal to the death of his Son Jesus. (John 3:16)

So come to the Father today! He wants you to come up Higher!

Joshua 1:9 "Have not I commanded thee? Be strong, and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed; for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest."

Three time in this chapter the Lord instructed Joshua to "Be Strong! Take Courage!" It is with this knowledge that we too are instructed to "Be Strong! Take Courage! God is with us!

Have you ever faced a situation that you were fearful of confronting? Have you ever felt that you were incapable of doing something?

Know this one thing........You are not alone!

God is with you even at this very moment. He is there calling out to you.

"Be Strong......Take Courage......I AM with you"

When you have to face those people on your job.

"Be Strong.....Take Courage.......I AM with you"

When you are feeling like no one cares.

"Be Strong......Take Courage.......I AM with you.

When your back is against the wall and there is no one to come to your rescue.

John 15:7 : If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you."

To abide simply means to dwell. This scripture clearly reveals four awesome truths that when we as believers begin to activate them we will receive the full benefit of the Word.

1) "Abide in me" - These three words clearly shows Jesus as the Source, Foundation and Beginning of an important fact and that is to dwell or to habitat. When we begin to look to Jesus as our dwelling place we are placing our dependence on him and not on our own ways, thoughts, or experience.

2) "My words abide in you" - Reveals the truth of letting the words of Jesus dwell in our hearts, lives, actions, attitudes and ways. His word is alive, quick, powerful, and lifechanging. (Hebrews 4:12) It is through his word we are heal, delivered, and set free. (Psalm 107:20) Our living depends on his word. (Matthew 3:4)

3) "Ask what you will" - Jesus is instructing us to ask according to our desires or will. Our desires for something is important. As Christians we tend to look past the fact that God doesnot want us to ask according to our desire. We think that we should only ask for things that pertain to spirituality and neglect our desires that pertain to life and this world. You want a new car? Ask for it. You want to start your business? Ask for it. You want to get out of debt? Ask for it.

4) "It shall be done unto you" - For all of you spiritual giants and theologians out there. This needs no interpretation or greek or hebrew. Jesus is telling us that when we follow the three prerequisites that IT or the thing that we ask for, shall be done for us.

Let's put everything in perspective.

When we dwell IN JESUS as our Source and Foundation and allow His lifechanging, powerful WORDS to become apart of our daily lives, then we are instructed, even commanded to ASK according to OUR DESIRES and know that IT (the thing that we ask) shall be done for us.

Shocking isn't it!

You may be going through hell and highwater right now. You may be facing the toughest battles that you have ever faced. You may be facing a job loss or even foreclosure. You may be wondering, Dear Lord when will it end. Well I've got good news for you.

IT WILL NOT PROSPER!................... PERIOD!

Every child of God that has named the name of Christ has a Godly and Righteous Heritage and that is No weapon form shall prosper and whatever is said against you will come to nothing.

You are on the verge of a breakthrough.

1) Your Source - Jesus is the only source who can empower you to live victoriously in this world.

3) Your Success - Jesus is the only one who can give you real and lasting Success when you rest in him as your Source and depend on him for your Strength.

This verse of scripture is a declarative sentence which essentially states an idea or a statement.

Therefore, whenever you are feeling that you cannot.

Joseph told his family his first dream and they hated him for it. The bible says that he dreamed yet another dream. So if Joseph had to dream again then why not you?

For in your dreams lie deliverance for people who are around you, even your family! Child of God I know your struggles and it seems that you have lost focus, connections, influences, money and time; but, if you can go with me to that place where you can dream about your business, your financial success, your saved children and spouse, your ministry to the hurting and the lost.

Then all is not loss.

Every one of us on planet earth was given gifts by God to serve one another. The baker uses his or her gift to feed hungry mouths. The singer uses their gift to uplift hurting souls. The preacher uses his gift to encourage the weak and faint hearted. The artist uses his or her gift to bring joy and a smile to faces.

What will you do with your gift? God has endowed you with a gift that only you can use to bless the world around you. You are special and unique and what you can do whether little or great must be done so that someone can be encouraged along the way to go on.

Stir up your gift and allow greatness to shine in you and through you. Use what you have and allow God to bring out the best in you.

You can do it! God believes in you and has equipped you to do a wonderful work.

So let your light shine so that all men may see your good works and glorify your father which is in heaven.

What is God calling you to do?
The answer lies in the above scripture passage.................Have Dominion!

You were created in the image and likeness of God to rule and to reign in your area of gifting and anointing.

You were given legal authority or power to rule and reign on this planet as agents of change for the kingdom of God.

Therefore, whenever you feel that you are clueless about your assignment on earth.

You are called to take authority, called to exercise legal rights and power, and called to lead as agents of righteousness and change for the eternal King and his Kingdom.
